During the fall months, home inventories will fall and sellers will be less competitive. This means you can expect higher offers, less contingencies, and less scrutiny from buyers. You have more power over your requirements.

Autumn buyers are serious buyers! Earlier this year, many viewers are thinking about buying, but in the fall, those who are still looking are ready to sign a deal, often with a deadline. Many fall shoppers want to come before vacation, and if they have kids in school, they want to get them into their new school before so much time has passed.

Employers who pay for employee transfers also prefer to buy out of season to save on cost moving. If you live near a large hospital, university, technical center or industrial area, your home may be attractive for moving services.

Autumn is also a great time for shoppers who aren’t looking into the school districts. Young professionals and empty nests are the two groups most likely to buy in the fall. When marketing to these people, it’s a good idea to show space for your exercise room, home office, or playroom.

With cooler temperatures and brighter, clearer autumn days, it’s easier to maintain and enhance your garden. You can use autumn leaves to decorate your home to create a cozy atmosphere. Don’t forget the fragrant candles with pumpkin spices and hot oatmeal cookies to encourage buyers a lot of fun.
